Beitostølen is a four season, family-owned resort that offers a complete winter experience for families and couples alike.

Beitostolen SKI RESORT
Beitostølen is located 900m above sea level and usually has snow from November until May. The ski lifts are located in the village centre and the slopes are great for children, beginners and families. Their other ski area - the alpine centre, connected by a short bus ride - offers more challenging slopes. This resorts offers great convenience and everything is close at hand.
Try your luck at ice fishing or have an adventurous night out in a Lavvu. Experience the majestic landscape from the dog sledge or snowmobile. If you'd like a slower pace, you can go for a trip on horseback.
At Beitostølen they offer both a Spa and fitness centre, where you can work out with great views of the winter landscape. You can also find the largest swimming pool - at 25 x 12.5m - in a mountain resort in Norway. There are also a variety of shopping possibilities in the village, if you want to switch out the slopes for a little retail therapy. There are also a couple of good places to have a fun ngiht out - try the Svingen Pub which has quiz and karaoke nights or check out one of the almost 40 beers on tap at the Bryggerihuset (Brew House) set in a converted petrol station. Everything is in easy waling distance as well as a couple of supermarkets if you're self-catering.
The mountain village of Beitostølen is located in Valdres, between the cities of Oslo and Bergen, just a three hour transfer from Oslo.
THE SKIING IN Beitostolen SKI RESORT
Beitostølen offers 21 runs serviced by 9 lifts as well as an expanse of off-piste terrain. There are also 320km of cross country ski trails, snow park, lifts, family-friendly slopes, a large variety family-friendly activities and some challenging slopes await you. In Beitostolen you are within walking distance to everything; to the slopes, trails, dining experiences, cultural activities, entertainment and anything else adults and children dream of.
The resort is known for its family friendly slopes, but you can also find challenging slopes in Raudalen right across the valley. Two of the ski slopes are lit.
