Norefjell SKI RESORT
Norefjell is the mountain area closest to the Norwegian capital of Oslo, and has the highest vertical drop of all the ski resorts in Northern Europe at 1010m. You can go skiing from the top of the ski resort at 1188m above sea level and almost all the way down to lake Krøderen. With beautiful nature and a vast network of ski slopes the resort offers varied skiing for everyone regardless of their skill level.
Norefjell is widely known for it's high-level accommodation. Norefjell Ski & Spa is the largest hotel in Norway and has won many awards for design and the spa, as well as being named the Best Ski Hotel in Norway. At Norefjellhytta you will get the cozy atmosphere of the cabin life combined with high class service and unique culinary experiences.
Norefjellstua is the newest rental apartments at Norefjell. Experience one of the best locations at the mountain right next to the ski slopes. Enjoy your ski holiday in modern apartments with ski in/ski out and up to 8 beds in the largest units.
Norefjell has a total of eight eateries, of course with the option of ski in/out. From pizza and burgers to tapas made of local ingredients, you will find something for everyone's taste!
At the top of the Norefjell mountain you will find the award-winning Wellness Spa. With two floors, hot and cold deep pools, jacuzzis and champagne baths in addition to several saunas, this is the place to relax and recharge after a long day of skiing. THE SKIING IN Norefjell SKI RESORT
Norefjell is a family friendly resort with a ski school, child areas and big ski slopes. Norefjell also has a mascot named Nore Rein. Nore is very popular among the children and he has a dedicated activity programme throughout the ski season. With 14 ski lifts, 30 ski slopes and two terrain parks, there is something for everyone.
The resort offers the longest vertical descent in norther nEurope as well as access to some great off-piste tree skiing for the more adventurous skiers.
In addition to amazing skiing, Norefjell offers varied activities for the whole family. Go for a swim in the pool, try indoor rock climbing and much more.
There are eateries at Norefjell with ski in/ski out. You will find something for everyone with foods such as homemade pizza and tapas made from local ingredients.
