Go for arguably the world’s best powder conditions, the fabled ‘Japow’ frequently found between Dec-Feb.
It’s an ideal destination to mix skiing with a cultural taste of this fascinating country.
We can add on Tokyo or Kyoto hotels and train services.
Japan is cheap! When you’re there..the price of lift tickets, rentals and eating out is great value as the Yen has depreciated almost 50% in the last 5 years.
So are you ready to elevate your skiing experience? Japan's renowned ski resorts -Hakuba Valley and Niseko - offer enthusiasts unparalleled powder snow, breathtaking landscapes, and rich cultural experiences. With the current favourable exchange rate, there's never been a better time to explore these winter havens.

Hakuba Valley: A Skiing Wonderland Nestled in the Japanese Alps, Hakuba Valley is more authentic Japan than Niseko and boasts over 200 runs across 10 resorts, featuring 135 lifts and extensive terrain parks. Whether you're carving through fresh powder or enjoying panoramic mountain views, Hakuba promises an unforgettable adventure. Beyond skiing, immerse yourself in local culture with activities like a visit to see the snow monkeys or immerse yourself in a local onsen (Japanese hot springs).

Niseko: The Powder Capital
Located on Hokkaido Island, Niseko is famed for its consistent, light powder snow, attracting skiers from around the globe. The resort’s long season - from late November to early April - ensures ample opportunity to enjoy its world-class slopes.
Niseko is in essence one big mountain with four separate resorts located at it’s base.
The back country access skiing is the biggest draw where intermediate skiers can hire a local ski guide for the day and head off-piste to explore the tree lined terrain.
You can also ski at nearby Rusutsu, less than an hour away by bus.
After a day on the mountain, unwind in one of Niseko’s renowned onsens or indulge in exquisite cuisine. Niseko’s lodging varies from small and friendly up to pure luxury that rival anything Vail or Aspen has to offer.
