The town of Jasper and Marmot Basin offer an authentic Canadian Rocky Mountain experience that is easy-going, relaxed and free of chaotic lines and crowds. The town of Jasper is a true mountain town, not just a town in the mountains. Jasper has managed to preserve a small-town feeling while offering the amenities expected from a world-class winter resort. Jasper is an excellent option as part of a 2 centre holiday with Banff. Transfers from Banff to Jasper available, £46 one way. Leaves Banff at 1:30pm daily.
NOTE: If flying from UK, transfers to Jasper leave at 1130am & 1700pm from Calgary (Wednesdays & Saturdays only) or 15:30 from Edmonton daily. We can also offer private transfers to Jasper daily.

THE SKIING IN Jasper SKI RESORT
Season: Mid November - Early May
Terrain: 86 trails, 1675 acres of skiing and snowboarding terrain. 30% Novice, 30% Intermediate, 20% Advanced and 20% Expert; evenly split on upper and lower mountain. Longest run - 5.6 km (3.5 miles). Treed trails in lower area; high alpine, open bowls and chutes in the upper area.
Elevations: Top: 8,570 ft (2, 612 m), Base: 5, 570 ft ( 1,697 m), Vertical Drop: 3,000 ft (915 m)
Marmot Basin has the highest base elevation of all Canadian ski areas.
Lift System: 8 lifts - Two high speed quads, one quad chair, one triple chair, two double chairs, one T-bar and one magic carpet.
Snowfall: 400 cm (160 inches) average per season.
Average Temps: December -11°C (12°F), January -7°C (19°F), February -3°C (27°F), March +1°C (34°F), April +6° (43°F)
Rentals: State-of-the-art Rental & Repair shop offering the latest in skis, snowboards, boots, poles, high performance skis, shaped skis, ski boards and allowing for non-consecutive multi-day rentals.
Snow Sports School: The Snow Sports School offers lessons for first time skiers and snowboarders, high performance clinics, freeride clinics, private lessons and a variety of children's programs.
Day Care: The Little Rascals Nursery is available for children 19 months to 6 years of age.
Day Lodges: Three mountain day lodges; one at the base area and two at mid-mountain. Three lounges, 2 cafeterias, 2 dining rooms, several outdoor sun decks and bag lunch areas.
Terrain Park: Sponsored by Rogers, featuring various rail slides, table tops, and jumps.
Retail Shop: The Outer Limits Shop is a great place to buy gifts, accessories, clothing and souvenirs.
