SOLL holidays
SKIWELT
Soll SKI RESORT
In winter, Söll becomes a white arena at the foot of the Hohe Salve with two flood-lit toboggan runs and the longest night skiing piste in Austria. Some hearty après-ski activities await in the valley after a trip out on the freshly prepared pistes.
THE SKIING IN Soll SKI RESORT
Highlights in the resort include many easy slopes suitable for beginners, a number of race courses (some of which have a mechanism to measure skiers' speed), several pistes floodlit at night as well as three funparks for freestylers. The resort reaches all the way up to a snowsure altitude of 2,000 metres above sea level, with the slopes located further down in the valley serviced by a network of snowmaking machines to ensure top conditions throughout the season.
The SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental is also well known as a hotspot for families with children. Facilities include special beginners' areas for children as well as childcare services for babies and toddlers. The resort's many huts are the ideal place to stop off for a drink and a snack, while the enchanting Igloo Village and sun lounge made from natural ice are well worth a visit at the top of the cable car in Hochbrixen, next to the Panoramarestaurant Bergkaiser. Experienced skiers looking for an adrenaline kick can test their skills and nerve on the black run leading down from the Choralpe. It has a maximum gradient of 80%!
