Located on Lake Tahoe's North Shore about an hours drive from Heavenly, Palisades Tahoe ski resort - host to the 1960 Olympics offers one of America's largest ski areas with 4,000 acres of skiable terrain as well as night skiing. With the ongoing development of a new resort village at the base of the mountain, there is more to do than ever before and the Palisades Tahoe Experience now offers an ideal combination with Alpine Meadows as the lift ticket covers both resorts..
THE SKIING IN Palisades Tahoe SKI RESORT
Guests ride the 2,000 vertical feet to High Camp in Palisades Tahoe's aerial cable car. High Camp is also the gateway to most of the resort's beginner terrain. Here skiers and snowboarders will find scenic views and plenty of wide open gentle slopes on which to hone their skills. Palisades Tahoe offers Lake Tahoe's most extensive and appealing night terrain with skiing and riding until 9pm nightly under the lights on the 3.2 mile mountain run, and in Central Park with the Riviera Halfpipe and Terrain Park.
Alpine Meadows is now included in the lift ticket.
Alpine Meadows is just down the road from Palisades Tahoe and attracts skiers and riders who are passionate about their turns, or want to spend some quality time with their family. There is something for everyone!
